NBC Sports US Open
It's overused, it's a cliché, but the U.S. Open is the Super Bowl of golf. Quokka had just bought Golf.com, the 2000 Olympics were just around the corner and NBC wanted us to do their
web coverage of the U.S. Open 2000.
We had live video feeds we could dip into, a top-notch team, and major sponsors banging on our doors. Managing two other designer and working with three developers, I designed a homepage, live action viewer, photo gallery, scoreboard and interactive media stories created in Flash.
Tiger On A Tear.
Tiger Woods' 72-hole total of 272 was not only 12 under par, an Open record, but his margin of victory was 15 strokes -- a course record.
